Social media is playing a rapidly growing role in church communication. Stop by the Communication & Social Media Hub on the Expo Floor to gain successful tips and tricks that you can use to enhance the impact of your message.

Sponsored by the Center for Church Communication, the HUB is a casual setting where you can chat with your peers, talk with expert presenters from the CFCC, and learn just how easy engaging in social media can be.

Presentations taking place at the HUB during Expo Hours include:

  • Social Media 101: New to social media? Wondering how a church can use it effectively? Come and learn some simple ways your church can get engaged in the conversation happening online.
     
  • Best Practices in Social Media: Is your church using social media but not getting the results you'd like to see? Come join the conversation and learn best practices for churches using social media and increase your effectiveness online.
     
  • OUTSPOKEN: Everything your church does communicates a message. Whether in a service, online, or in print, you're communicating something to your audience and your community. Come discuss church communication with the co-directors of the Center for Church Communication.
     
  • Texting and Tweeting in Service: "Welcome to church. Turn your cell phones ON." Learn ways your church can use services like Twitter or texting to engage your congregation during weekend services.
     
  • What Would Jesus Tweet? Does social media have a place in ministry? We think it does. Come join the conversation and hear reasons why your church should be engaged in social media.
     
  • Social Media Roundtable: Have questions? We have answers. Come for an informal discussion on social media and the church.
